The Shop

I have been working on my etsy shop since November 2010. I started off with bows, then crocheting beanies and other items, then I got a sewing machine and I am trying out tons of new stuff. I choose the name Crooked Heart Creations because I believe that as perfect as life is, as mysterious and miraculous the human life is, it has its flaws. Sure a factory machine can make a hundred dresses a day with each stich perfect, but I am proud of my work, weather I am a centimeter off or going in a crooked line, it was made by human hands and with love. To complete a project makes me feel like I am contributing to the world. I am producing something that may become a keepsake, or a treasury to someone, someday.
I started sewing when I was very young. My grandmother taught me how to sew with needle and thread. I would design and make my own barbie clothes. I lived on a ranch that was in the middle of nowhere so I had no choice to make my own stuff. Soon I was making skirts and curtains on my grandmas old singer sewing machine, which she still owns today. My grandmother also taught me to crochet as well. She is an inspiration to me and I am so glad that she taught me well

I can also make anything according to your prefrence. Tell me your favorite colors and an idea or theme and I will make it for you to the best of my ability.
